The 37th Annual Conference, organized by the American Turkish Council (ATC) and Turkey-U.S. Business Council (TAIK), is the premier occasion for leaders in business and government, in both countries, to focus on the continued and increasingly vital U.S.-Turkey relationship.
The 37th Annual Conference on U.S.-Turkey Relations was held on April 14-16, 2019, at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.
This year’s Annual Conference came to a successful conclusion, with record breaking attendance and notable remarks by distinguished guests from both countries. More than 700 leaders in the private sector, government, and the non-profit space gathered to discuss the decades-old Turkish American alliance in an event that was sponsored by over fifty companies from both sides.
The 37th Annual Conference on U.S.-Turkey Relations focused on current and relevant topics in a variety of sectors, including defense, secure 5G, trade, environment, construction, cyber security, energy, and research & development. The theme of the conference, “Back to Business: Maintaining Partnerships in Difficult Times,” emphasized the importance of dialogue in fostering, maintaining, and improving commercial diplomacy and relations between the United States and Turkey. The conference provided a platform for thought leaders to gather and discuss issues that influence this vital trade relationship.
