15th Türkiye Investment Conference Organized by TAİK Held in New York with the Participation of President Erdoğan
The 15th Türkiye Investment Conference, organized by the Türkiye-U.S. Business Council (TAİK), took place in New York from September 23-25.
The opening program of the conference was held at the Turkish House (Türkevi) in New York, honored by the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The event was attended by Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Dr. Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, DEİK President Nail Olpak, U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Suzanne L. Clarke, TAİK Chair Murat Özyeğin, American-Turkish Business Council President Hamdi Ulukaya, and senior representatives from leading companies of both countries.
On the second day, in collaboration with Goldman Sachs, the conference brought together high-level representatives of U.S. investment and fund managers with Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, and Central Bank of Türkiye Governor Fatih Karahan.
A panel titled “Outlook of Türkiye’s Private Sector” was held following the meetings. The panel featured Koç Holding CFO Polat Şen, Akbank CFO Türker Tunalı, and Ülker CFO Fulya Banu Sürücü, who shared their experiences and insights. Discussions during the panel focused on the role of the private sector in Türkiye, investment and growth trends, as well as technological investments and innovation.
On the third and final day of the conference, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Dr. Alparslan Bayraktar and Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır engaged in roundtable discussions with U.S. investors.
