As part of the 19th Türkiye Investment Conference, we held our Main Session with the participation of H.E. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade; H.E. Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Treasury and Finance; Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye M. Fatih Karahan; DEİK President Nail Olpak; DEİK/Türkiye-U.S. Business Council (TAİK) Chairman Murat Özyeğin; Stephanie von Friedeburg, Global Head of Public Sector Banking at Citi; and more than 100 U.S.-based institutional investors, fund managers, and representatives of leading financial institutions.
The session addressed Türkiye’s monetary policy and inflation outlook, the ongoing disinflation process, fiscal discipline, and the investment opportunities offered by Türkiye’s economic environment.
Discussions also focused on Türkiye’s resilience to domestic and external shocks and its productivity gains; the Medium-Term Program, fiscal discipline, policy continuity, progress achieved in the disinflation process, and targets for the period ahead; Türkiye’s progress in industrial, green, and digital transformation and opportunities across strategic sectors; as well as measures to strengthen the workforce, address demographic developments, support SMEs, and promote inclusive growth.
The session further highlighted Türkiye’s strong production infrastructure and the potential of its services, tourism, healthcare, and defense industries, alongside opportunities in third markets and new areas of cooperation in Türkiye-U.S. economic relations.
The 19th Türkiye Investment Conference concluded with strong participation and interest, providing a comprehensive platform to discuss Türkiye’s investment and cooperation opportunities in line with our $100 billion bilateral trade target between Türkiye and the United States.
