Levent Kocabıyık started his higher education at Northeastern University (USA) majoring in Mechanical Engineering, then graduated from Phoenix University (USA) with a Business Administration degree.
Starting his professional career in Borusan Mannesmann Steel Pipe in 2009 as a part of the Management Trainee Program, he worked as a BMW Aftersales Team Manager and Business Development Coordinator at Borusan Otomotiv between 2011 and 2016. Since 2016, he has served as a member of the Borusan Holding Steering Committee and the Board of Directors of various Borusan Group Companies including Borçelik, Borusan EnBW Energy, Borusan Lojistik and Borusan Otomotiv.
Currently he is the Chairman of the Borusan Group Audit Board and a Board Member of the Board of Directors of Borusan Holding.
He is also a Board Member of Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation and a Founding Member of the Yuvam Dünya Association, actively supporting efforts regarding arts, education, and climate change. Levent Kocabıyık has been representing Turkey in the international motor sports arena as a professional pilot of the Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport Team and has several championships under his belt.
